No. Needle adapters are single-use and sterile. They comply with USP <87> and have an endotoxin limit of ≤10 EU/device.

Yes. It’s designed to extract density gradient bands from centrifuge tubes after ultracentrifugation. To collect fractions:

  • Position the bottom needle holder at the lowest position.
  • Assemble the needle by connecting one end to the adapter and the other end to tubing with a Luer connection.
  • Insert the needle into the tube at the desired band location and collect fractions into your collection vessels.

  • Unplug the USB-C cable.
  • Remove the LED dimmer by pulling upward.
  • Use a 2.5 mm hex key to remove six screws securing the LED board.
  • Replace the LED board, reinstall the O-ring, mount, and cover.
  • Press the LED dimmer back into place. (See Figures 4.1–4.4 in IFU for visuals.)
  • 1:10 dilution of Solution 555 (PN 339555)
  • Water with mild detergent
  • Isopropyl alcohol
  • Peracetic acid/hydrogen peroxide blend (SporKlenz®)
  • Diluted hydrogen peroxide (6%)
  • Ethanol (70%)
  • Quaternary ammonium (Conflikt®)
  • 1M sodium hydroxide
  • High-quality bleach (5–6% hypochlorite)
